1. Refund Due to Freelancer Non-Response or Disappearance
If the freelancer fails to communicate or disappears during the project:
- Action: The client should contact our support team and provide evidence of attempts to
- Outcome: FreelanceYard will offer an alternative freelancer to complete the project. However, the client retains the power to request a refund if they prefer not to continue with a new freelancer.
2. Refund Due to Mismatch Between Output and Brief
If the final output delivered by the freelancer does not align with the project brief:
- Action: The client must submit a refund request along with a comparison between the brief and the delivered work.
- Outcome: FreelanceYard will provide an alternative freelancer to revise or complete the project according to the brief. The client still retains the right to request a refund based on the extent of the mismatch if they do not wish to proceed with a new freelancer.
3. Refund for Missed Deadlines
If the freelancer fails to meet the agreed-upon project deadline:
- Action: The client should notify FreelanceYard support of the missed deadline.
- Outcome: An account manager will review the project timeline and communicate with the freelancer. If it is determined that the freelancer is at fault for the delay without prior agreement or valid reason, the client will be eligible for a refund depending on the severity of the delay.
